PIR cleanroom panels use a polyisocyanurate insulation core between facing sheets. They are an option for projects that need an insulated enclosure alongside surfaces and joints suited to the intended cleaning process. The appropriate panel configuration depends on the room layout, temperature conditions, fire requirements and installation details.
WONCLEAN manufactures in Changshu, China, and supplies projects in Spain. We work with project teams to define panel requirements and the agreed supply scope. Our Malaysian project references relate to overseas projects, not manufacturing facilities in Spain; request relevant reference details when discussing your application.

For temperature-controlled rooms, evaluate the thermal performance of the complete enclosure, including panel joints, door interfaces and service penetrations. Core thermal conductivity alone does not establish the insulation performance of an installed wall. Condensation control also requires consideration of indoor and outdoor conditions, air leakage and the HVAC design.
For partitions, coordinate panel dimensions and support positions with the room layout. Ceiling use requires a separate assessment of spans, fixings and loads. Lighting, FFUs and other equipment need defined support arrangements; a general panel load figure is not a substitute for a ceiling design.
| Selection Item | Information to Confirm |
|---|---|
| Core and dimensions | PIR specification, core density, panel thickness, width, length and manufacturing tolerances. |
| Facing and finish | Facing material, sheet thickness, coating, colour and compatibility with the proposed cleaning agents. |
| Thermal performance | Declared values for the selected product, test conditions and whether the data describe the core or the complete panel. |
| Fire documentation | Classification and test reports identifying the panel configuration and installation conditions covered. |
| Joints and openings | Connection profiles, seals, edge protection and interfaces with doors, glazing and service penetrations. |
| Structural requirements | Support spacing, allowable loads, fixing details and any restrictions on ceiling installation. |
| Environmental requirements | Operating temperatures, humidity, cleaning procedures and any specified emissions or material testing. |
A PIR core designation does not establish the fire classification of every panel made with that material. Request documentation for the proposed panel construction rather than assuming a generic rating. Reaction-to-fire classification and fire resistance are different performance measures; confirm which evidence the project specification requires.
ISO 14644-1 classifies airborne particle cleanliness in cleanrooms and clean zones. It is not, by itself, a particle-shedding certificate for a wall panel. The completed room's classification depends on the enclosure, ventilation, installation, operating conditions and testing. If the project requires material emissions or particle-release data, specify the relevant test method and acceptance criteria separately.
Compare panel systems against the same project requirements, not a generic table assigning one fire rating or thermal value to each material family. Alongside PIR, available product pages include aluminum honeycomb cleanroom panels and EPS cleanroom panels.
Send WONCLEAN your project location in Spain, drawings, wall or partition dimensions, quantities, required finishes and operating conditions. Include the required cleanroom class, fire specification and any ceiling or equipment interfaces so these can be reviewed as part of the project, rather than treated as automatic properties of the panel.
Before ordering, confirm the proposed panel specification, supporting documentation, accessories, delivery scope and schedule. Installation responsibilities and after-sales arrangements should also be agreed for the individual project.
